Reporting Structure
Reporting to the VP of R&D

Duties and Responsibilities

Hire and lead a team (up to 20) of scientists thatcharacterize and optimize the ADME properties of small molecule therapeutics,and demonstrate efficacy in suitable models.

The Director will plan and prioritize departmentalactivities, manage external collaborations, introduce or develop technologiesfor assessment of drug candidates, possess good communication skills, anddisplay the desire and the ability to work effectively in a highly interdisciplinaryteam-oriented environment.

Personal Characteristics

Minimum of 7 years relevant experience, and a track recordof proven success in leading small molecule, preclinical drug discoveryactivities.

Supervisory experience is required, as is broad biologicalexperience across therapeutic areas.

The individual should be motivated by a strong desireto successfully advance novel therapeutics into the clinical trial stage.

Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will include a base salary, bonus, and equity opportunities. Relocation is available.
