Strong biology skills, preferably in the genomics area, with experience in microarrays.

Solid understanding of the drug discovery process.

Familiarity (expertise would be great, but not required) with some the modern bioinformatics tools.A belief that bioinformatics tools will play a more crucial role in biology/drug discovery in the near term.A strong interest in working at a software/services company as opposed to continuing as a straight biologist.

Guide AnVil in the tailoring of our tools and services to meet the needs of biologists and drug discovery scientists.

Undergraduate degree, Ph.D. or MA.

Responsibilities

  • Network with their colleagues to provide new prospects for AnVil's tools and services.
  • Be billable as a consultant to help companies in their experimental design which ultimately leads to data collection which we will mine. (I have seen a number of companies complain that their microarray and other experiments are flawed and are not providing satisfactory data).

    • Compensation

    Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits.
