ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

The Company

Cartesis provides comprehensive financial business information reporting solutions including budgeting, forecasting, planning, performance analysis, reporting and consolidation. Cartesis is a global software company with its headquarters in New York and Paris. Cartesis has continually reinvested 25% of revenue in Research and Development to maintain technological advancement over its competitors through innovation and client service.

Cartesis has recently secured investment by PriceWaterhouseCoopers to accelerate Cartesis' expansion into key markets and the development of its next generation software products. Cartesis is a quality-based organization and remains focussed on sustaining a 50% growth rate and excellent client service.

Cartesis has embarked on a major marketing campaign in the North American Market and is seeking to build a success-driven sales team.

Location

New England

Reporting Relationship

Reporting to Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Education

Undergraduate degree MBA or equivalent experience a plus.


Experience

Qualified candidates will have a proven track record in selling enterprise-wide financial software solutions or analytical applications to Global 2000 clients. The ideal candidate will have financial industry/applications knowledge and experience working in an accounting function. The candidate must be able to work in a flexible team environment focused on client needs. Strong oral and written communication skills is a must to be able to successfully present solutions to CFOs, CIOs and other executives.


Responsibilities

The Account Executive will be responsible for overall client satisfaction and further development of large, strategic Cartesis clients. The successful Account Executive will interface regularly with many different levels of management at both clients and at Cartesis. 25% overnight travel schedule.

Responsibilities will include

  • Learning the software functionality and technical architecture.
  • Demonstrating the software solution to prospects and clients with the presales team.
  • Working with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing to implement our marketing strategy.
  • Maximizing the Cartesis relationship with new and existing accounts.
  • Presenting to senior executives, user groups and conference attendees.
  • Solution selling where you will be required to understand prospect and clients needs to align with marketplace trends.
  • Working with the Cartesis team to continuously optimize the development and implementation of our applications.
  • Working with the Pre-Sales team to present the best Cartesis solution to prospects and clients.

Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits.
