Education
A four year degree is required; an advanced degree is a plus.


Experience
Proven  experience in the rapid applications development of high complex e-commerce transaction processing ;  Development experience using WebLogic's TA server or WebSphere Application Server is STRONGLY desired. Detailed in depth experience  working with WWW application server and related protocols; in a high transaction environment. Experience with content personalization or content delivery methods is a plus; Must have extensive knowledge of database technology from an architectural perspective. Excellent writing skills, excellent JAVA coding skills (clean, easy-to-read, well-documented),       Prior experience in an Oracle environment is a plus.

Responsibilities
The candidate will be involved in the design, architecture, development, and delivery of high transaction e-commerce applications.  This individual will supervise a staff of E-commerce applications developers and multiple technical projects.

  •  Develop rapid application prototypes to aid in the product design and development process.

  •  Integrating database/content serving modules.

  • Provide daily support and continuous improvements to multiple e-commerce projects.

  • Supervise coding, testing, and implementation of E-commerce applications and their functionality's.

  • JAVA programming to provide key functionality and interactivity for web sites.

  • Implement Internet applications for order entry, data retrieval, report generation, and document management.

  • Must have extensive knowledge of the development database technology (Oracle) in a multi-platform environment.

Personal Attributes
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Technical Team Lead or Project Manager on multiple rapid development projects in the E-commerce space.  Outstanding leadership and staff development (internal and external) experience.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to transfer knowledge in a clear and concise manner to staff.  A team player with a great sense of humor is required.

Compensation
Commensurate with experience and consists of base, bonus and stock options.
