CyberDrawer ASP application infrastructure organizes, aggregates, archives and manages commercial messages for the consumer into an accessible filing system called the CyberDrawer.CyberDrawer licenses its CyberDrawer tag technology to ad serving networks such as DoubleClick, destination sites that produce their own ads such as Juno, and permission based email distributors such as Yesmail.These companies, in turn, resell the CyberDrawer technology to advertisers or make it a part of their standard offering.
Title Vice President of Business Development
Location The position is based in the companys headquarters in Dallas, Texas.Under appropriate circumstances, a satellite office location may be considered.
Reporting Relationship This position will report to the President/CEO.
Opportunity The position of VP of Business Development with CyberDrawer represents a significant opportunity.An aggressive business development executive will be able to create a significant first mover advantage for CyberDrawer with major internet portal and advertising companies and shape product direction and consumer habits of a new industry.
Responsibilities The VP of Business Development will be required to contribute actively as a member of the management to close sales of CyberDrawer products, plan new product innovations, and to participate in strategic periodic sales planning.
Specific responsibilities include:
Establish and maintain relationships with companies throughout the targeted industries.
Establish relationships with sales channels, co-selling and co-marketing partnerships and alliances.
Recruit, hire, train and motivate internal sales account executives and external sales resellers, co-selling and co-marketing partnerships and alliances.
Actively sell CyberDrawer products while building the long-term sales organization.
Negotiate business and legal agreements with customers.
Develop plans that clearly define objectives, goals, schedules and assignments to implement and achieve targeted opportunities. Forecast and develop sales revenue targets.
Develop and implement an overall sales strategy for the company product including target identification, target qualification, sales call procedures, team selling as required, prospect nurturing, and closing options.
Participate actively in formulating a program for market research and analysis including market segments, buying trends and competitor analysis.
Establish and lead a growing sales organization capable of achieving the corporate Strategic, Annual, and Tactical Plans for a product and/or a business category.Develop and manage the Sales Department budgets including recommended sales organization and compensation plans. Develop ROI for each Customer.
Work with the Administration Department to develop the administrative infrastructure to support a sales organization including procedures for customer order processing, billing, contracts, negotiations, and general sales administration.
Experience The ideal candidate is presently a VP of Business Development/Sales at a major interactive advertising agency or marketing software provider selling to portals, destination sites, ad serving networks, email serving networks or value added resellers of internet based applications.
Candidate must be a disciplined leader with a high energy level. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
The candidate must have recent experience selling to a multi-level constituency (including decision-makers (CEO, CFO, VP Advertising, VP of Strategic Alliances) influencers and users). Candidate should have extensive industry contacts.
Candidates should have progressed through positions of increasing responsibility to several years of senior sales management experience with a high growth company.
A strong plus is a demonstrated ability to recruit sales personnel (direct, agent and headquarters sales staff) and motivate the entire sales team to achieve established targets.
Finalists will have an operating knowledge of sales management, strategic planning techniques and operational systems.
The candidate should be personally proactive and assertive, and be able to orchestrate organizational support.
The ideal candidate should be able to operate effectively without extensive staff support, and manage with limited organizational resources as sales build to targeted levels.
