TITLE
IS Manufacturing/Procurement Consultant

LOCATION
Stamford, Connecticut

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This position will report to Jerry Ostrove, Director, Supply Chain Systems.

EDUCATION
Undergraduate degree required. Advanced degree highly desirable.

EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will posses the following background:

• Seven plus years of overall experience;
• Five plus years of full lifecycle software project management implementation experience;
• Three plus years of Information Systems experience with delivering high-quality systems and information support and improve business performance with a major ERP software package;
• Implementation or a strong user of one of the following packages: JBA, Manugistics, Baan, Oracle Manufacturing, SAP, or CIMPRO;
• Experience with mid-range client/server and PC-based systems;
• Proven ability to develop, manage and grow relationships within a large corporate organization;
• Successful leadership experience in consulting and/or technical services organizations, or corporate infrastructure;
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national organization.

ASSIGNMENT SCOPE
The IS Manufacturing/Procurement Consultant will be accountable for managing allaspects of and delivering manufacturing/procurement systems based on business objectivesand priorities to enhance the performance corporate-wide. The incumbent is responsible forworking closely with the management team and users to understand the strategic andtactical business direction and lead the conceptualization of creative IS solutions. Inaddition, the incumbent is challenged to also understand the broad range of businessissues and goals for all manufacturing and procurement systems impacting key businessdeliverable. Key objectives will include sharing experiences with the IS team in theregion to ensure best practices are applied in business support services, to avoid re-workand duplication and increase local and regional knowledge. The ISManufacturing/Procurement Consultant will apply to the Information Systems controls toensure data integrity in all United Distillers supply chain system. He/she will ensuretimely communications of project status, potential business and tactical issues, andrecommend actions to all key participants and decision-makers.
