Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead

Director of Internet Technology
LOCATION
Stamford, Connecticut
EDUCATION
A four year degree required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be involved in the design, architecture,development, and delivery of large internet software applications. They will work directlywith Web Designers, Project Managers, Senior Users, and act as a mentor to other InternetDevelopers.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience with the MS suite of Internet tools (eg. ASP/ADO, VBScript, MS IIS, SQL);
- Extensive knowledge of WWW server and related protocols;
- Experience with content personalization or content delivery methods is a plus;
- Must have knowledge of database access tools;
- Excellent writing skills, excellent HTML coding skills (clean, easy-to-read, well-documented), excellent research and analytical skills, good interpersonal skills;
- Oracle is a plus;
- Technical Lead experience is a plus.
DUTIES:
- Develop rapid prototypes to aid in the product design process;
- Integrating database/content serving modules;
- Provide daily support and continuous improvements of internet sites;
- Perform coding, testing, and implementation of internet projects;
- Key duties will include SQL and ASP programming to provide key functionality and interactivity for web sites;
- Implement internet applications for order entry, data retrieval, report generation, and document management.
SALARY
Commensurate with experience and consists of base, bonus and stockoptions.
