CLIENT
The Southern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) is apublic consortium of sixty two school districts located in Westchester, Putnam andRockland counties. The Lower Hudson Regional Information Center (LHRIC) is one of ten (10)such technology services throughout New York State. The LHRIC has been the leadingadvocate for school district investments in infrastructure and distributed networkingsince 1989. With headquarters in Elmsford, NY and several satellite offices; LHRIC hasbeen recognized as the leader in educational technology services among the BOCES in NewYork State. Currently there are approximately one hundred fifty (150) employees dedicatedto providing technology services that range from planning, consulting, project management,systems integration, local area network support, hardware maintenance, telecommunicationsand Internet support, staff development services, administrative services, Help Desksupport and research and development.

Project Manager
LOCATION
The Project Manager will be based in the Elmsford office and travel throughoutWestchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Project Manager will report to the Manager, Consulting Services
EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Manager will be responsible for the presentation, proposal andultimate implementation of network systems throughout the school districts in theWestchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties in New York. The Manager will coordinate thedevelopment of the scope of the project, the project cost estimates, timelines as well asgenerating and tracking equipment and software orders so that the networking solution isdelivered on time and within budget. Lastly, the Manager will juggle multiple projects ata time at various stages of the implementation and/or proposal phase.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Qualified candidates will have at least three years overall business experiencewith knowledge of a variety of Local and Wide Area Networking technologies. The successfulcandidate will have consulting experience and the ability to prepare oral and writtenreports; proposals and detailed specifications; sound judgement; ability to handlemultiple detailed tasks in an efficient and accurate manner; and good supervisory andadministrative ability.
COMPENSATION
Includes a base salary commensurate with experience plus overtime and anattractive benefits package.
