CLIENT
Our client, a $330 million marketing and service firm, headquartered inFairfield, Connecticut, with offices in Wilton, Connecticut; New York, Illinois, Maryland,Washington, and Germany, focuses on business-to-business direct marketing, best defined aspromoting an immediate, measured response from a precisely targeted audience via anycommunication medium.

The division we are currently working with is focused on three core areas of expertise:market technology consulting, market technology systems development, and interactiveproduction services. Their key software product, Dynamic Marketing Environment (DME), istoday’s most advanced technology for implementing "real time" event-drivenmarketing communications on the Internet. DME becomes the foundation for all marketingevents for integrating all channels and customer touch points, and by developingintelligent agents to drive auto-generation messages based on pertinent customeractivities via the Internet.

TITLE
Technical Project Manager

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This position reports to the Director of Business Application Development.

LOCATION
Wilton, Connecticut. 

EDUCATION
A four year college degree, preferably with a concentration in Business,Math or Computer Science.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle"hands-on" project management of core application development in BTG’sInternet Systems. The entire development team is in Wilton, Connecticut. Applications arebeing developed in a UNIX/SUN, Windows NT environment using Oracle as the database, with avariety of front-end tools (Perl, CGI, Java, C, C++). The average system they aredeveloping will encompass a 40 or 50 gigabit Oracle database.

The Technical Project Manager will be on the team to assist in the client management,architecture, design, development and implementation of the applications.

EXPERIENCE
The candidate will posses at least three years of application projectmanagement experience in a C/UNIX environment. Experience with a variety of otherlanguages and Internet tools are preferred. Knowledge of the direct marketing industry orcampaign management systems is a plus. The company is a fast-paced, high technologyorganization that is expanding rapidly, and looks for individuals comfortable in thatenvironment.

SALARY
Commensurate with experience including annual bonuses upon performance andan attractive benefit package.
