CLIENT
Priceline.com is the world's first buyer-driven commerce system. By leveraging the powerof the Internet and the latest client/server technology, Priceline.com will empowerconsumers in a way that was previously not available. Put simply, the Internet-basedpurchasing system will allow consumers to set the price they would like to pay for aproduct or service, and Priceline.com's back-end search engines will look for a companythat will meet the price.

TITLE
Project Manager

LOCATION
Stamford, Connecticut

EDUCATION
A four year degree required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the activitiesof staff involved in systems analysis, design, applications development and implementationof Internet systems. Main responsibilities of the Project Manager include: meeting withthe marketing staff to identify project requirements, developing project plans, assigningstaff and implementing schedules. This is a highly-visible position and is as demanding asit is rewarding.

EXPERIENCE
The candidate will have two to four years of project management experience in aclient/server environment and will have a reasonable exposure to Internet technologies.Priceline.com is an Oracle/NT environment and would prefer candidates with a strength inthat area, but will consider other client/server environments for the right candidate.

It is critical for the candidate to possess strong leadership and management skills, tobe a self-starter, and to be capable of performing well in a fast-paced andentrepreneurial environment. The candidate must have a track record of managing multipleprojects, planning, organizing and coordinating the activities of staff involved insystems analysis, design, applications development and successful implementation ofbusiness systems.

SALARY
Commensurate with experience with a base salary plus bonus and an attractive benefitspackage.
