Oxford Health Plans is one of the most progressive and fastest growing managed health careproviders in the US. In 1996, they had an increase in revenue of 74% and an increase ofnet earnings of 86%. They have headquarters in Norwalk, Connecticut with officesthroughout the Northeast. Their data center is located in Trumbull, Connecticut.

TITLE
Project Manager

LOCATION
Trumbull/Norwalk, Connecticut

EXPERIENCE
The candidate will have two to four years experience in a relational database environment;preferably Oracle, although Sybase and/or Informix are also acceptable. They must alsohave at least five years project management experience delivering business systems, and inparticular an exposure to client/server software. Knowledge of graphical user interfacetools (GUI), Oracle SQL Forms, and SQL Reports is highly desirable.

It is critical for the candidate to posses strong leadership and management skills, bea self starter, and capable of performing well in a fast paced and entrepreneurialenvironment. The candidate must have a track record of managing multiple large scaleprojects, planning, organizing and coordinating the activities of staff involved insystems analysis, design, applications development and successful implementation ofbusiness systems. In addition, the candidate must be capable if interacting with alllevels of the organization from the CEO down to the customer service analysts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the activitiesof staff involved in systems analysis, design, applications development and implementationof business systems. Main responsibilities of the Project Manager include: meeting withusers to identify project requirements, developing project plans and assigning staff, andimplementing schedules. This is a highly visible position, as demanding as it isrewarding.

Commensurate with experience.
