TITLE
VP of Americas Support

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The VP of Americas Support will report to the Chief Operating Officer

LOCATION
This position will be based in Louiseville, Colorado. Louiseville is located nextto Boulder, CO.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The VP of Americas will manage the support resources required from customerservice delivered within the Americas region. He/she will organize both direct andindirect support resources to ensure revenue targets are met, as well as the delivery ofan integrated program to underpin the business strategy. Current departments include: AdInsertion Deployment and Field Service; VOD Deployment and Field Service; 24x7 TechnicalSupport; Training; and Logistics.

Overall responsibilities will include:

Understanding the future needs of the market and customers, and develop support strategies to ensure the achievement of both nCUBE and the customer.
Achieve the revenue and profit targets by controlling the support process, continuously monitoring performance, identifying deviations and implementing alternative courses of action to achieve plan.
Build a world-class global support desk infrastructure and sustaining processes to maintain a 24x7 operation for the AI and VOD market.
Establish and develop a customer care/quality program.
Ensure improvements in customer satisfaction so that service level agreements are produced and objectives met.
Develop and maintain key senior external and internal customer contacts for business development purposes, and provide and sell services as appropriate. Sales coordination and reporting.
Develop and maintain a multi functional management team providing a range of support services.
Create the infrastructure to monitor many remote computer-based systems.
Scheduling and managing system installations.
Direct customer contact should be emphasized.

Growth Opportunities to be initiated include:

Expand technical support department from domestic customer base to a word class global support infrastructure for both AI and VOD.

Develop service bureau with experienced operator staff that can be rapidly deployed to meet the needs of large customers. In conjunction, offer contractors to supplement existing customer’s staff, and to encourage more flexible sales strategies.

Position training department as a profit center, by expanding course offerings, establishing a certification process, and enhancing the offerings of the professional services department.

Establish and develop a customer care/quality program.

EXPERIENCE
Qualified candidates will have at least eight (8) years overall experience withincreasing responsibility in a technical role, with at least three (3) years in amanagement position, managing a group of twenty (20) or more. The successful candidatewill be familiar with supporting the cable and/or telecom industries, and knowledge ofVideoOn Demand, Cable TV advertising systems, or computer-based video systems is highlydesirable. Experience should include managing installation crews and scheduling trackingand preparation. He/she will have experience in operations with large computer systems,data networks, and software, as well as systems maintenance, helpdesk and trainingprocedures. The ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational skills and will beresponsible for assessing the total quality of the services being delivered to theclients.

COMPENSATION
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will include a base salaryand equity opportunities.
