POSITION:
Chief Information Officer/Chief Technology Officer

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Indulge.com is looking for an executive to manage development and operation of allinformation technology for the company.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
This individual will report to Ken Landis, President and Chief Operating Officer.

SUPERVISES:
This individual will supervise a team of information technology professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The CIO/CTO will be responsible for leading all technology/architecture planning,development, and operational functions. The CIO/CTO is a key member of the seniormanagement team and is responsible for working closely with this team to define thecompany's long term strategy and annual operating plans.

He/she will have the following responsibilities:

• Establish the technology plan and vision to support and advance the strategic goals of the web business. This plan involves establishing, managing, and growing a stable and scalable technology architecture for a high-volume web site with extremely high information and data processing requirements that are time-sensitive.
• Keep abreast of latest advances in web hardware, software and application technologies. Evaluate industry-best practices and apply them to the environment. Keep the executive staff apprised of trends and emerging technologies.
• Oversee data architecture, capacity management, applications development, systems integration, and data architecture to ensure technical leadership in the competitive environment.
• Establish strategic and operational objectives for the technology team and develop programs, operational support, professional project management (including on-time, on-budget and high quality).
• Manage relationships and contract negotiations with key suppliers, technology vendors, and service providers.
• Manage, build, and inspire a talented team of developers and technologists with a strong service and delivery orientation.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets for IT and adhere to approved spending levels.

EXPERIENCES/SKILLS:
An ideal candidate will have the following experiences and skill sets:

• Managing the development of advanced electronic commerce web sites. He/she should be familiar with web technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, HTML, Java), traditional software development (C++ and Visual Basic), operating systems (Unix), and database systems (Oracle).
• Understanding the development of information technology systems for warehouse systems. He/she should know database systems, EDI, and warehouse management systems.
