Cartesis is a global software company with its headquarters in New York andParis. Cartesis has continually reinvested 25% of revenue in Research and Development tomaintain technological advancement over its competitors through innovation and clientservice.

Cartesis has recently secured investment by PriceWaterhouseCoopers to accelerateCartesis' expansion into key markets and the development of its next generation softwareproducts. Cartesis is a quality-based organization and remains focussed on sustaining a50% growth rate and excellent client service.

Cartesis has embarked on a major marketing campaign in the North American Market and isseeking to develop its client service organization.

TITLE
Senior Consultant

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reporting to Consulting Project Manager

LOCATION
Stamford, CT

EDUCATION
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance. MBA and/or CPA a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual will be responsible for implementing the Cartesis softwarefunctionality, technical architecture and application development. Implementation workincludes application, system and specification design, softwareinstallation/troubleshooting and application development. Pre-sales support work mayinclude working with sales and prospects on potential application design, productfunctionality/technology issues and application prototyping. The majority of the work isperformed on site at clients. Clients will be serviced on a regional basis, therefore,most client locations will be within the consultant’s region. Individual mayberesponsible for providing clients with telephone support throughout the implementationperiod on an as required basis.

EXPERIENCE

3 to 6 years prior experience in finance, business information or accounting is a must.

Prior experience implementing a financial applications software system including architecture, design and implementation is desirable.

Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Access (financial reporting packages are a plus but optional).

Experience in SQL or other reporting tools is a plus.

Strong written and verbal presentation skills are required.

Travel 40% outside of region.

COMPENSATION
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will include a base salaryand bonus opportunity.
