Cartesis provides comprehensive financial business information reporting solutionsincluding budgeting, forecasting, planning, performance analysis, reporting andconsolidation. Cartesis is a global software company with its headquarters in New York andParis. Cartesis has continually reinvested 25% of revenue in Research and Development tomaintain technological advancement over its competitors through innovation and clientservice.

Cartesis has recently secured investment by PriceWaterhouseCoopers to accelerateCartesis' expansion into key markets and the development of its next generation softwareproducts. Cartesis is a quality-based organization and remains focussed on sustaining a50% growth rate and excellent client service.

Cartesis has embarked on a major marketing campaign in the North American Market and isseeking to develop its client service organization.

TITLE
Project Manager

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reporting to Vice President Consulting Services

LOCATION
Stamford, CT

EDUCATION
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or other degree with relevantexperience. MBA and/or CPA a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual will be responsible for executing the Cartesis methodology and ensuringthe successful implementation of Cartesis software at clients. Successful mangers will befully trained on the functionality and benefit of Cartesis software and will be able toclarify those benefits to existing and potential clients. The project management skillsinclude scheduling and managing project resources, monitoring timeframes and exceedingclient service objectives.

Project managers are responsible for developing strong relationships with clients,managing their expectations throughout the implementation process and ensuring thatfollow-up project work is completed. Project managers are expected to learn theirclient’s business and understand the short-term and long-term needs and services tobe provided by Cartesis. The majority of the work is performed at the client locations.This will require a presence at the client’s location on average three days a week.

Project managers will be responsible for managing the team. Project mangers willevaluate consultants performance and ensure they receive appropriate training anddevelopment.

• Minimum of 5 years project management experience including 2 to 5 years prior experience managing 1 or more projects at a time including all deliverables.
• Prior experience in managing custom software implementations.
• Prior experience working with finance, business information or accounting packages is desirable.
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Access (financial reporting packages are a plus but optional).
• Experience in SQL or other reporting tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills are required
• Managed travel as needed.

COMPENSATION
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will include a base salaryand bonus opportunity.
