Hard Dollar Corporation is positioned to be the undisputed worldwide leader inproviding Internet-based integrated information solutions to the infrastructureconstruction marketplace, and recently introduced a Bid*Build Metasystem builtspecifically for the management of infrastructure construction projects. The internallydeveloped systems, which clients access through their Web site, combines databases, apatented navigation system, and system integration, that enable users to prospect,estimate, bid, launch, plan, schedule, document, monitor, administer and close-outconstruction jobs. Our client bases their past, present and future on a strong valuesystem of Honesty, Quality, Ingenuity, Initiative, Productivity, Order, and Community.They have 5,000+ existing customers and are strategically positioned to capture a majorportion of a $200 billion dollar-a-year industry.

TITLE:
Senior Vice President, Product Development.

LOCATION:
Tempe, Arizona

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
This position reports to the Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This person will be responsible for providing strategic and technical leadershipin developing the company’s first suite of web applications. This complex,distributed development project is one of many exciting e-commerce initiatives currentlyunder development. This key Executive will assume primary responsibility for all of thesedevelopment projects through and up to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budgetdelivery.

EDUCATION:
An undergraduate degree is required, graduate degree preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual will serve as a member of HardDollar’s senior management team. The position's responsibilities are asfollows, and may evolve over time:

Provide overall project leadership for all committed deliverables, tracking and maintenance of schedule, budget and status of all projects.
Manage technical staff to include scheduling, coordination, staffing and budgeting of all internal resources as well as domestic and offshore subcontractors, ensuring overall quality of the process.
Provide regular status updates to executive and functional management to highlight resource obligations, current status and critical issues; Escalate as necessary to assure timely resolution along with recommendations for improvements.
Interface closely with company departments such as Sales/Marketing and Product Management.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

5-10 years managing large-scale, multi-user software projects.

Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies including SEI/CMM or rational unified process.
Established track record in the design, development and management of commercial users’ software systems and web-site projects.
Strong understanding and expertise in marketing and end-user issues.
Working knowledge of current technologies, to include JAVA, Client/Server, Oracle and BEA Web logic applications.
Strong knowledge in operating systems; Oracle 8i on Sun UNIX, Windows NT, SQL Server 7.
Strong Project Management skills, especially with outsource development sub-contractors.

COMPENSATION:
A six-figure salary with equity participation and performance-based bonuses.
